Help & FAQs

CLEAR ANSWERS. BEFORE YOU MOVE.

Practical information for planning, booking and managing a journey.

Booking

How do I obtain a quote?

Enter your collection and delivery details in Quote & Book, then describe the consignment and access. The site currently accepts quotation requests for manual review. A saved request is not a confirmed booking.

Can I book immediately?

Instant rates and payment are not yet enabled. A journey can only be booked once availability, handling, the final price and the applicable terms have been agreed.

Can I schedule in advance?

Yes, you can specify a preferred future collection date and time in your request. This is a preference until the service is accepted and a collection window is confirmed.

Can I alter a booking?

Use the contact form with your reference and the details you want to change. A change is not agreed until it has been accepted; it may affect the route, availability and price.

Vehicles

Which vehicle do I need?

Use the Fleet comparison to choose a likely class. Include the dimensions of the packed goods, total weight and number of pieces. If unsure, select Auto-select so suitability can be reviewed.

What can each vehicle carry?

Capacity depends on the exact vehicle and configuration. Published vehicle classes are guidance, not payload commitments. Verified loading dimensions and payload must be confirmed before acceptance.

Collection & Delivery

What happens at collection?

Have the goods ready and correctly packed, with a contact available. Confirm piece counts, any agreed condition record and collection instructions before the goods are handed over.

Do you help load?

Loading and unloading requirements must be declared in advance. Do not assume extra crew, lifting equipment or a tail lift are included; these arrangements require confirmation.

What if access is restricted?

Include floors, stairs, lift dimensions, parking rules, loading bays and time restrictions. Add these to the Access step so the method can be planned around the site.

International

What customs information is needed?

Typically a detailed goods description, value, origin, consignor and consignee details, and the reason for export. The final document set depends on the route and goods and must be checked for the actual shipment.

Who pays duties and taxes?

Responsibility must be agreed in the accepted quotation. Do not assume destination duties, import taxes or clearance charges are included in transport charges.

How is transit time calculated?

A service-specific estimate follows route and carrier confirmation. Customs, destination access and service disruptions may affect arrival; no unverified transit promise is shown.

Art Transportation

How should artwork be prepared?

Describe the object, material, condition and existing packing before making changes. Sensitive surfaces and unstable objects may need specialist advice; do not apply packing materials directly to them without an agreed method.

Can packing or crating be arranged?

Request packing or crating in the specialist assessment. The appropriate materials, contractor, method and cost need to be confirmed for the specific object.

Can environmental requirements be accommodated?

State the required temperature or humidity range and monitoring needs. Climate control is not assumed or promised; equipment and the full chain of custody must be verified before acceptance.

Tracking

When does tracking begin?

Tracking requires a confirmed booking and an operational tracking feed. The public tracking connection is not active yet. An enquiry reference is not a shipment tracking number.

What do shipment statuses mean?

Booked indicates acceptance; collection scheduled indicates an agreed collection plan; collected records handover; in transit records movement; delivered requires delivery confirmation. Only verified events should be published.

Problems

What should I do about a delay?

Submit a tracking or delivery enquiry with the booking reference and the affected appointment. Include a reliable contact number and any deadline that changes the handling priority.

What if goods appear damaged?

Record the visible condition and packaging, retain the packaging and report the issue promptly with the shipment reference. The applicable claims procedure and any time limits must be checked against the agreed terms.

What happens after a failed delivery?

The next action depends on access, recipient availability and the agreed service. Provide a contact and alternative instructions. Redelivery, storage and additional charges require confirmation.
